Valve

Valves are pipeline accessories used to open and close pipelines, control flow, adjust and control the parameters (temperature, pressure and flow) of the conveying medium. According to its function, it can be divided into shut-off valve, check valve, regulating valve and so on.

The valve is a control component in the fluid conveying system. It has the functions of cut-off, regulation, diversion, prevention of reverse flow, stabilization, diversion or overflow and pressure relief. Valves used in fluid control systems, ranging from the simplest shut-off valves to the various valves used in extremely complex automatic control systems, have a wide range of varieties and specifications.

Line pipes are mainly used for the transportation of gas, water, oil and other media in petroleum, natural gas, chemical, electric power and other industries. The line pipe products independently researched and developed by GS have now formed the manufacturing capabilities of multi-purpose and high-end products such as PSL1 line pipe, PSL2 line pipe, subsea line pipe, acid line pipe, and cryogenic line pipe, which can meet the different needs of customers. The highest strength level can reach X100Q/L690Q, the outer diameter range of the steel pipe: 60.3～762mm, and the wall thickness range: 3.5mm～120mm. The quality of GS steel line pipe products is stable and widely used in many key engineering projects at home and abroad.

For oil and gas reservoirs with high sulfur content that are likely to cause casing corrosion and cracking, GS has independently developed 80S/SS～110S/SS grades of oil well pipes with hydrogen sulfide stress corrosion resistance series, which have excellent mechanical properties and resistance to hydrogen sulfide stress corrosion cracking. Other grades mainly include 1%chrome, 3%chrome, 9% chrome, 13 chrome, super 13, etc.

Tubing main seal is a 30o angle taper metal to metal seal, which can provide excellent gas tightness even after repeated make-ups breakouts. The design virtually eliminates all risk of seal galling. Casing main seal is a low taper seal (10% taper on diameter) providing gas tightness under high-tension loads such as with heavy string weights.
